Announced at SDCC 2005, this new game from STIKFAS PTE is a cool bit of culture from Singapore, and therefore "worthy" of an article without having to pass the usual "relevance" tests.

Will be ACTIVELY searching for the origin of KOOTIKOOTI for the entry.

Why: Her comic is new, but it is very cool. Subsequently it also features Stikfas.

[edit] STIKFAS Wiki page

Editor/Contributor to the Stikfas Wikipedia entry.

Why: I'm a fan of the toy. Member of Stikfanatics.com. I want to see an honest and accurate Stikfas entry because I saw the current entry (July 05) as somewhat vague and inaccurate, no pictures, etc. Sinc I had NO EXPERIENCE with WIKI I decided to cut my teeth on this entry as my first.

NOTES: I included a list of the Kits in order to create a neutral listing that any collector could look up and check. Stikfas is popular on EBAY and as such, people their would be interested in those type of details.

I am making every attempt to NOT use this as an ADspace, or as my personal web site. When I first learned about Stikfas, I had no idea that it wasn't just the one kit that I had found. They are distributed internationally and every day they are entering into the larger sphere of people's knowledge of toys. As an inovation, and an icon, I think that my additions to the page reflect the full Stikfas Encyclopediac listing-tude... and as such I will maintain it as long as the PTB find it reasonable.

Status:

X - Reoved North American Distributor link in attempt to forestall "deletion" comments from people not-fond-of-stikfas. (see below)Nixon 19:17, 6 October 2005 (UTC)

X - While looking through the HISTORY of the Stikfas page, I found that SHOCKER TOYS had edited the Stikfas page at one point, and that it was marked as "vandalism" and restored. (see below)

X - Added images (10/6/05)

X - I was the previous ANONYMOUS author of the last round of major text changes. Registered on Wiki shortly after that.

X - Added 4 Regular kit names, and DINOSAUR body style to BODY STYLES section.

X - Added a note in STIKFAS/TALK about WHEN I think it is appropriate to enter kit names.

X - There has been some "noise" about the listing of product/releases on other toy sites. This bears consideration - I have a messy note up in STIKFAS:TALK right now. I should clean that up and look for some actual opinions before finding a "happy medium".
