The Niwa clan (丹羽氏 Niwa-shi?) is a Japanese clan which rose to prominence in the Sengoku period. They claim descent from the medieval Kodama family. Famous clan members include Oda Nobunaga's retainer Niwa Nagahide, as well as Nagahide's 19th century descendants Niwa Nagatomi, Niwa Nagakuni, and Niwa Nagahiro.
Another clan, the Isshiki-Niwa, bears the same name but has no relation.
