[edit] License tagging for Image:CUC Regions Map.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:CUC Regions Map.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:04, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:CUC Logo.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:CUC Logo.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Welcome to the Religion Project!

Welcome and thank you for having joined the Religion Project. I noted that you have an interest in Unitarian Universalism, and I'm very happy to see it. I regret to say that my own fields of expertise are more or less generic Judeo-Christian and related, with some basic knowledge of the older and basically no longer extant groups, and look forward to being able to work with you and the other members on these articles. For what little it might be worth, I am a fairly good copywriter, editor, and reviewer. Several of the other members have much more knowledge and expertise in other fields, and it is my sincerest hope that you will feel free to look to the project or any of its members if you so wish. If you ever do have any questions or concerns in which you think I might be able to help, please do not hesitate to contact me. Again, welcome to the project, and happy editing! Badbilltucker 19:57, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The article about Unitarian Universalist Conferences you wanted to be rated

I have rated this article. See it's talk page and my comments. If you don't agree with my rating or comments please inform me. Kkrystian 10:27 (UTC+1) 30 Dec 2006

I am sorry I commented that article so harshly. I really didn't mean to criticise, insult or defame you. I realise I should have been more diplomatic. Sorry again. Kkrystian 19:17 (UTC+1) 3 January 2007

[edit] Ratchet Screwdriver/Wink (game) Merge

I noticed you changed Ratchet Screwdriver to merge to Wink (game). Would you mind saying why on the talk page? Thanks. :) Drum guy 21:15, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Categories

I removed some categories from your user page. The only categories can be on user pages are categories with the word "user" in them. — Randall Bart 17:49, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Kissy face

Welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Kissy face) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. If you want to test things out, edit the sandbox instead. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. --Finngall talk 23:23, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi Devin, The reason I deleted the UUstub template from Kissy Face is that, as it stands now, the article doesn't say anything about Unitarian Universalism. I'm assuming from your "see also" that it is played at UUYouth Conferences, but the article does not state or give any evidence of that. -Aleta 02:15, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding edits to Wink (game)

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Nived 90! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule \bangelfire\.com\/, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 05:00, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] TfD nomination of Template:UU Youth Games

Template:UU Youth Games has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you. — McGeddon 16:52, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] {{Canadian-country-band-stub}}

Hi - a stub template or category which you created has been nominated for deletion or renaming at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type, which was not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, does not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 02:04, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg

Hello Nived 90, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg) was found at the following location: User talk:Nived 90. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not readd the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 02:24, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Why are you editing other users' stuff?

Hello. I noticed you have edited one of my userboxes. I am reverting the change because you left no reason why you made the change. Most people don't like it when people go around editing other people's user-name-space pages (page such as User:FastLizard4/Userboxing/...) for no apparent reason, hence edit summaries and talk pages. If the border size is bothering you, make you own, don't use mine. Now, beneficial changes (such as removing fair-use images) that are justified some way or another (either on my Talk Page or in an edit summary) I would appreciate, and I owe some people for watching my back in this way. Thank you.
--FastLizard4 (Talk|Contribs) 05:43, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
Another note: my talk page has a section for suggestion on my userboxes. Why don't you say something there?
--FastLizard4 (Talk|Contribs) 05:52, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Nomination for deletion

[edit] sadfce icon

I reverted your change to the sadface icon. The original file appears to have been corrupted on Wikimedia Commons, and I re-uploaded it. The original is much nicer :) -N 06:24, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Volapük Wikipedia

Hallo Nived 90, I found your name in the m:Association of Inclusionist Wikipedians, and thought that you might agree with those who fight the proposal for closing the Volapük Wikipedia. If you agree that vo.wiki should be kept open in order to have a chance to grow, then you could express your opinion by casting a vote (and by informing any other like-minded people you happen to know). Thanks in advance! Smeira 06:04, 29 oct 2007

[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Religion/Unitarian Universalism work group

Hi Devin, Since we have had four people express interest, I've started a page for the work group. Aleta 19:13, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Do you want to add yourself, or should I go ahead and do so? By the way, your talk page won't let me edit a section. It says it doesn't exist, but then will let me edit on the whole page. Thought I'd let you know! Aleta 01:17, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Nickel Creek Newsletter

The WikiProject Nickel Creek December/January Newsletter is up! Feel free to check it out! Thanks-- Thamusemeantfan (talk) 21:45, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Volapük

Hi Nivod 90. I found your name at the m:Association for Inclusionist Wikipedians and thought that you might be interested in this discussion: m:Proposals for closing projects/Radical cleanup of Volapük Wikipedia. If you agree that this is proposal is not the best for the Volapük Wikipedia, you could help us fight it with a vote. Thanks in advance! --Smeira 22:17, 5 jan 2008

[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:User WPUU/Invite

A tag has been placed on Template:User WPUU/Invite requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 19:40, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wikiproject homeschooling

Hi Nived 90!

I noticed you were a member of WikiProject Alternative Education, and thought you might be interested in WikiProject Homeschooling. In this "WikiProject," we have been together working on the collaboration of Homeschooling-related articles. As a member, I really hope you can join, and let me know if you need any help signing up or with anything else. If you have any questions about the project you can ask at the project's talk page. Cheers! RC-0722 communicator/kills 23:53, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Archived a talk page

Talk:Unitarian Universalism I archived this page, and about a year ago, you mentioned how you thought the article was not worldwide in its scope. This received no response on talk and I do not know if you think the problem still stands, so I am removing the tag and archiving the talk now, but if you think it's still a problem post on the new talk. -Justin (koavf)·T·C·M 18:42, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Alternative education

There has been a proposal brought forward [1] regarding a merger of WikiProject Alternative Education, and as you are member of that project, I am notifying you. Thanks. Twenty Years 13:35, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:AUC Logo.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:AUC Logo.gif. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 19:30, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:AUC Logo.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:AUC Logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:31, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] YRUU Article

Hey, as per your offer on the UU WikiProject page -- I would be willing to take a stab at rewriting the YRUU article. Please send me a copy of the earlier incarnation. Thanks! Ecoleetage (talk) 11:17, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

  • The article was recreated, albeit in a somewhat shorter version. Thanks! Ecoleetage (talk) 17:08, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Let me be the first...

...to offer you the first-ever presentation of Wikipedia's latest award:

The Unitarian Universalist Barnstar
For your highly valued contributions to Unitarian Universalist articles and discussions on Wikipedia. Ecoleetage (talk) 11:32, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Cheers! Ecoleetage (talk) 11:32, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Barnstars listing

I removed the UU Barnstar from the main barnstar page because it is too specific a barnstar for this page and is already covered by the more general Christianity Barnstar. You may want to list it on the more boutique Wikipedia:Personal user awards or on Wikipedia:WikiProject Religion. Best --Eustress (talk) 18:28, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
