Talk:Nissim Ezekiel

[edit] On Nissim Ezekiel some corrections
The poem is not about Nissim Ezekiel but about a poetic persona he creates. while the atttues he expressed towards the superstitions are of the poet one cannot actually assume that it is Ezeliels'mother who was bitten by a scorpion as we all know that he lived in Bombay all his life. Also about his being beaten up by christians and insulted by Hindus- He did say that he was natural outsider because he was a Ben Israeli Jew but there is no source which says that he was actively and actually physically abused. --202.141.68.66 05:52, 20 November 2006 (UTC) Syamala k
[edit] This was at end of article, belongs on "Talk" page
Someone (not me) left the following note at end of article...I don't know if anyone wants to take the suggestion to heart, but I am moving it here and deleting it from the article.
"I just wanted to say that the eminent creative writer himself and a well-known academician on Indian Literature in English Prof Raj Rao who is the Reader in the Department of English has written an authorised biography of Nissim Ezekiel. Please include it in the standard references on Ezekiel. : Prof R. Y. Shinde, Head, Department of English, KV College, Pune Mahabaleshwar Rd, Wai, Maharashtra. Email: <rrpoeticlov@aol.com>
