Talk:Nissan SR20DET
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Info about the SR20DET's engine power would finish this article off. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.137.244.237 (talk • contribs)

If at all possible could you cite the info with a reference tag. If this is not possible because it was test-research and not done by a third party, thats fine. But if you got the info from anywhere it would only serve to better wikipedia to provide a url or reference per WP:CITE --Oni Ookami AlfadorTalk|@ 05:31, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
yea ill try to find it, but it was from a silvia owners manuals translated to english. ill try to find another version of these manuals on the internet as soon as i can. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.195.54.249 (talk • contribs)
Just stating that it came from an owners manual nest to the info should be enough. I'll leave that up to you, as its generally better form for the person who added the info to include the ref when possible.--Oni Ookami AlfadorTalk|@ 20:52, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
I understand that there is repetition of information. I'll have to condense it. Also put some references in. --Nzhamstar 11:37, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Garrett/AiResearch
"The Garret T25g turbo used on most SR20DET engines. Note it may be incorrectly referred to as an M-24 turbo." I'm not sure about "incorrectly". IIRC (I can't find the reference now) the M-24 is the AiResearch number, you can find the same turbo marked AiResearch with M-24 on it. Same with the E15ET, some of the turbos from those engines are marked "AiResearch M-20", some are marked "Garrett". Anyone know more? RB30DE 14:24, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
- The actual number of hits is pretty small, and all of those indicate it's Garrett's designation (not AiResearch, although the internet comments/auction could certainly be wrong). I think it's probably safe to take the note out. ... aa:talk 05:54, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "other random facts"
This really looks silly. Perhaps those "random facts" should be rolled into the article rather than left dangling all by themselves. ... aa:talk 05:42, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
