Nisse (Netherlands)

Nisse (51°27′N, 3°51′E) is a village in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is a part of the municipality of Borsele, and lies about 17 km east of Middelburg.

Nisse was a separate municipality until 1970, when it was merged with Borsele.[1]

In 2001, the village of Nisse had 197 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.059 km², and contained 78 residences.[2] The statistical area "Nisse", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 630.[3]
