Nishikan-ku (西蒲区 Nishikan-ku?) is one of the 8 constituent wards of Niigata, Niigata. It was created on April 1, 2007 upon the city's designation by government ordinance. It is composed by five districts (the old Maki, the old Nishikawa, the old Iwamuro, the old Katahigashi, and the old Nakanokuchi).
