Nishi-Memambetsu Station

Nishi Memanbetsu Station (西女満別駅 nishi-memanbetsu-eki?) is a station of the Sekihoku Main Line operated by the Hokkaido Passenger Railway (JR Hokkaido) in the Memanbetsu section of Ōzora, Abashiri subprefecture. It is the closest station to Memanbetsu Airport.
In March 2006 Memanbetsu merged into Ōzora, therefore, as of 2007, the station is in Ōzora.

Nishi Memanbetsu station is an above-ground station and consists of a single side platform alongside a single railway line. Trains operate in both directions. A station attendant is not always present.

The station is a twenty minute walk from Memanbetsu Airport.

- 1947: Opened as a temporary arrival and departure point for Asahino.
- January 15, 1950: Station becomes a permanent passenger station and is renamed Nishi Memanbetsu.
- 1951: Freight platform was constructed.
- January 10, 1983: Station became unmanned.
