Nireus

In Greek mythology, Nireus was a name attributed to the following individuals:
- Nireus was a son of Poseidon and Canace.
- Nireus was a son of Aglaea and Charopus. The king of Syme, he fought for the Greeks during the Trojan War, taking three ships. He was considered the most handsome of the Greeks next to Achilleus and killed by Eurypylos.
- 173086 Nireus, a Trojan asteroid named after the latter Nireus.
