Niraval

Niraval also known as Neraval or Sahitya Vinyasa is considered to be the most important feature in the Impovisation aspect (Manodharma Sangita) of Carnatic music . Neraval is essentially the elaboration of a portion of a kriti, within the framework of a [Tala] rhythmically which brings out the Raga bhava effectively.

The Carnatic singer Palghat K.V.Narayanaswamy is considered a uniquely creative exponent of niraval and gave it a prominent position in his concerts.
