Ninnescah River (Kansas)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ninnescah River is a large stream of southern Kansas. It has two branches. The main stream flows southeast and empties its waters into the Arkansas River near the town of Oxford (Sumner County). In the southern part of Stafford County, this north fork flows northeastwardly to Plevna, (Reno County) where the course changes to southeast. The south fork's source is in the western part of Pratt County. Its course is almost due east through Pratt County and Kingman County until it unites with the north fork in the southwest corner of Sedgwick County.
