Nimbarus is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders). Its single described species is found in Guinea.

The generic name is derived from the Nimba Mountains where the species was found. The epitheton pratensis is Latin for "meadow", the habitat of the species.

The spider is about 4mm long.
