Nimapada is a town and a notified area committee in Puri district on the way to Konark and 40Km from the state capital Bhubaneswar in the Indian state of Orissa.

As of 2001 India census[1], Nimapada had a population of 16,914. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Nimapada has an average literacy rate of 77%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 82%, and female literacy is 72%. In Nimapada, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
