Nils Grevillius

Nils Grevillius (born March 07, 1893 in Stockholm, Sweden; died August 15, 1970 in Mariefred, Sweden) was a prominent Swedish conductor. After graduating from Stockholm Conservatory, he served as leader of the Stockholm Royal Opera Orchestra from 1911 to 1914. From 1927 to 1939, he was music director with the Stockholm Royal Opera. He is best known for his long-time association with the tenor Jussi Björling.
