Nilay Yiğit

Nilay Yiğit (born January 13, 1979 in Bakırköy, İstanbul), is a Turkish female basketball player. The 1.70 m (5' 7") national competitor plays guard. She currently plays for Beşiktaş Cola Turka since 2007-08 season start.

After Yiğit was with Erdemirspor, she transferred to Fenerbahçe Istanbul and extended her contract for two more years in the summer of 2005. Yiğit won the Turkish Cup with Fenerbahçe Istanbul in 2005 and was voted the “Most Valuable Player” of the competition.

She was member of the national team, which won gold medal at the 2005 Mediterranean Games in Almería, Spain.
