Nico Papatakis, or Nikos Papatakis, (born 1918) is a Greek film director. He was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Legend has it that singer photographer nicknamed the then-fashon model (later singer) Christa Päffgen "Nico" after Papatakis, his ex-boyfriend.[citation needed]
