Nikolay Vasilyevich Pushkov (Russian: Николай Васильевич Пушков, May 17, 1903 - January 29, 1981) was a Soviet scientist, founder of IZMIRAN.

Pushkov was born in Druzhno village, Dmitrovskiy uezd, Orlovskaya gubernia, Russian Empire.

He defended candidate's (Ph.D.) dissertation "Theory of Space Magnetism" in 1935 in Leningrad. [1]
