Nikolaus Glockendon

Nikolaus Glockendon (fl.1515; d.1534) was Nuremberg's master illuminator in the early 16th century. The son of Georg Glockendon and brother of Albrecht Glockendon, he was came from a family of woodcutters and printers. His work is known from a number of manuscripts, many of which he signed.
