Nikolaos Makris

Nikolaos Makros (Greek: Νικόλαος Μακρής, 1829 - 1911) was a Greek soldier and politician.

He was the son of Dimitrios Makris, a weapon master during the Greek War of Independence of 1821. He entered the Greek Army with the mark that he moved to France. after, he partcipated in the Greco-Turkish War of 1897 where he fought in the area of Taratsa (a village of Lamia and won there.

After the war, he left the army and continued as a member of the Athens police and chief. He was a politician several times.
