[edit] Competitive biography

Morozov originally competed with Olga Pershankova for Azerbaijan. They placed 21st at the 1994 World Figure Skating Championships.[1] Morozov then teamed up with Tatiana Navka. They competed for Belarus[2] at the World Figure Skating Championships and the 1998 Winter Olympics, where they placed sixteenth.[3] Navka and Morozov were coached by Alexander Zhulin.[4] When the two split up, Morozov tried skating with another woman for three months, but retired soon after.[5]

[edit] Coaching

After his retirement, Morozov became a coaching assistant for Tatiana Tarasova. In 2003, they had a falling out.[citation needed] At the time, Tarasova was coaching Sasha Cohen, Kwan's rival.

After splitting with Tarasova he became a sought after coach and choreographer. His current and former students and clients include Michelle Kwan, Takeshi Honda, Brian Joubert, Daisuke Takahashi, Shae-Lynn Bourne & Victor Kraatz, Elena Grushina & Ruslan Goncharov, Shizuka Arakawa, Miki Ando, Nobunari Oda, Adam Rippon, Daisuke Murakami, Cathy Reed & Chris Reed, and many ice dancing teams in Hackensack, New Jersey.[6]

He coached Bourne & Kraatz to Canada's first Worlds gold medal in ice dancing, Grushina & Goncharov to an Olympic bronze medal, Arakawa to an Olympic gold medal, and Ando to a World title.
