Nikola Vujadinović (Cyrillic: Никола Вујадиновић) (born 17 July 1986 in Belgrade, Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a football defender who represents Montenegro internationally on the youth level. He currently plays his club football for Bulgarian PFC CSKA Sofia.
[edit] Career
Vujadinović also holds a Bulgarian passport (and consequently EU citizenship) due to his grandfather Velichko being a Bulgarian from Pirot.[1] He was a Red Star Belgrade trainee; prior to his transfer to CSKA Sofia, he played for FK Rad of Belgrade, FK Zeta of Podgorica and FK Radnički Pirot. He moved to CSKA Sofia on a free transfer, as he had a six-month contract with the Pirot side, helping them to win a promotion. Vujadinović has spent a trial period with Championship team West Bromwich Albion F.C., but could not sign due to work permit issues.[2] He was also reportedly a target of Russian FC Spartak Moscow and FC Dynamo Moscow and Polish Legia Warsaw, however he preferred CSKA Sofia's offer.[3]
Vujadinović is seen as a future prospect at the Bulgarian club and was offered a long-term contract[4]
