Nikola Peković (born 3 January 1986) is a Montenegrin professional basketball player. He is currently with Panathinaikos B.C. of the Greek League and the Euroleague.

Pekovic began his basketball career playing with the KK Budućnost Podgorica basketball club's junior team department in the 2001-02 season. From there, he went on to go play for KK Atlas in 2002 and he played for them until 2005, when he moved to KK Partizan. With Partizan, he won 3 Serbian League Championships (2006, 2007, 2008), 2 Adriatic League Championships (2007, 2008), and the Serbian Cup in 2008. He was named the MVP of the Adriatic League Final Four in 2008.

In 2008, Pekovic joined the Greek club Panathinaikos B.C. He signed a 3 year contract worth €4.5 million euros net pay.

[edit] Serbia and Montenegro National Team

In 2005, while playing with the Serbia and Montenegro national Under-21 basketball team, he received the bronze medal in Russia at the FIBA Europe Under-20 European Championship. At the 2006 FIBA Europe Under-20 European Championship held in İzmir, he won the gold medal with his national team.

Pekovic is currently a member of the senior men's Montenegrin National Basketball Team.
