Nikki Jean (born Nicholle Jean Leary on August 25, 1983 in St. Paul, Minnesota) is an American singer-songwriter, musician and occasional actress. She is the singer, songwriter and pianist for Nouveau Riche (Philadelphia band), an indie/hip-hop band based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. They released an EP called "Long Tail EP" through their MySpace page. She is also featured on Lupe Fiasco's second album, The Cool, as a lyricist and vocalist. The Cool debuted on Billboard (magazine)s Top 200 at number 15. She's also featured in the "Hip Hop Saved My Life" video with Lupe Fiasco which was released through iTunes on March 18th 2008. Nikki Jean wrote and recorded "Five Alarm Fire" released by DJ Deckstream on Manhattan Records. She recorded Sting's "Be Still My Beating Heart" with The Randy Watson Experience on Rewind!5, released on Ubiquity Records. Nikki Jean is also known throughout the YouTube community for her original videos which appear on her channel "nikkijeanproject". With over 1 Million total video views, over 100,000 channel views and over 2,700 subscribers, this won her 3 YouTube honors as most viewed musician of the day, most viewed musician of the week and a most viewed musician of the month. As an actress, she performed in the award winning independent film On the Outs Nikki Jean was also featured on Lil Wayne's song 'Weezy Baby' on Tha Carter II.
