Nikhil Chinappa, the heartthrob from Bangalore, won the coveted MTV VJ Hunt Contest to be in the hot seat of an MTV VJ. As his father was in the Army he visited and stayed at many a places in India before settling down in Bangalore. After school he Joined BMS for Architecture. He soon joined Madras FM as a radio Jockey where he earned a pet name-flavour boy and a huge fan-following. Chinappa, a Gemini ( 6th June) with his trademark silver rings on all fingers and even his thumbs is a completely outdoors person. He loves to trek and sky dive. He anchors the hugely popular show MTV Select. He has also acted in a film, Snip with Sophia Haque and has created ripples for his rather outrageous scenes with the leading lady.
