Nijūichidaishū

The Nijūichidaishū (二十一代集?) are Japan's 21 imperial collections of Japanese poetry. The collection consists of the following texts:
The Hachidaishū (八代集?) are the first 8 collections, in which the first 3 collections are the Sandaishū (三代集?). They are:
- Kokin Wakashū. (古今和歌集)
- Gosen Wakashū (後撰和歌集)
- Shūi Wakashū (拾遺和歌集)
- Goshūi Wakashū (後拾遺和歌集)
- Kin'yō Wakashū (金葉和歌集)
- Shika Wakashū (詞花和歌集)
- Senzai Wakashū (千載和歌集)
- Shin Kokin Wakashū (新古今和歌集)
The Jūsandaishū (十三代集?) are the later 13 collections. They are:
- Shinchokusen Wakashū (新勅撰和歌集)
- Shokugosen Wakashū (続後撰和歌集)
- Shokukokin Wakashū (続古今和歌集)
- Shokushūi Wakashū (続拾遺和歌集)
- Shingosen Wakashū (新後撰和歌集)
- Gyokuyō Wakashū (玉葉和歌集)
- Shokusenzai Wakashū (続千載和歌集)
- Shokugoshūi Wakashū (続後拾遺和歌集)
- Fūga Wakashū (風雅和歌集)
- Shinsenzai Wakashū (新千載和歌集)
- Shinshūi Wakashū (新拾遺和歌集)
- Shingoshūi Wakashū (新後拾遺和歌集)
- Shinshokukokin Wakashū (新続古今和歌集)
Shin'yō Wakashū(新葉和歌集), an imperial collections of Japanese poetry, is not in the 21 collections.
