[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:NiGHTS characterart.jpg

Image:NiGHTS characterart.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. The red rock on Nights' chest, if I recall correctly, was never referred to as a diamond. I believe it was part of an ideya of courage... not a diamond. (ApostleJoe (talk) 15:42, 4 January 2008 (UTC))

[edit] Concept and creation

This article had direct quotes from the designers of the character and they were all removed. I don't see how this section of the article is an improvement. --Pixelface (talk) 10:54, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

With or without the quotes? I think that it's good for anyone trying to find out how/why the character was created. For instance, the Sonic the Hedgehog page has a similar section in its article. (ApostleJoe (talk) 14:30, 7 January 2008 (UTC))

I don't see how the removal of all of the quotes was an improvement. This revision has the quotes I am talking about. I think some of the quotes could have been trimmed, but there's no valid reason to remove them all. --Pixelface (talk) 01:31, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

Nights is also a playable character in the upcoming Sega Superstars Tennis.

Is citation needed for this particular statement, or no? I've seen sentences similar to it have citations, but I'm pretty new and unsure. (ApostleJoe (talk) 14:32, 7 January 2008 (UTC))

The correct spelling of the character is NiGHTS, I've noticed that the whole of Wikipedia seems to be ignorant of this fact, and the characters name, as well as the title of the games are all written wrongly...  Doktor  Wilhelm  20:07, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
