Talk:Nightingale Island

[edit] Organization of article

I researched for most of the day on this, and I couldn't fill in everything related to history. Also, feel free to switch sections around (e.g. Geology with History). --Idont Havaname 03:56, 7 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Possible Contradiction

Forgive me if I'm being dense about this, but here are two sentences from the article on Nightingale Island:

All islands are uninhabited, but are regularly visited for scientific purposes and research.

Once a year, filmmakers and journalists are permitted to work on the island (for a fee), but they are not allowed to interfere with the private lives of the islanders.

Who are the islanders? Does it mean the occasional visitors from Tristan de Cunha? The wildlife on the island? If the former, what exactly is it that they do that a journalist or filmmaker might interfere with? 152.13.99.132 13:56, 12 December 2006 (UTC)gabbbbyhayes@earthlink.net

It refers to the islanders from Tristan da Cunha; I apologize for the ambiguity. I've fixed it now. --Idont Havaname (Talk) 14:51, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
