"Nightwings" is a science fiction short story by Robert Silverberg. It won the Hugo Award for Best Novella in 1969 and was also nominated for the Nebula Award in 1968.
It was adapted as a graphic novel, the second in the DC Science Fiction Graphic Novel line, in 1985 by Cary Bates and Gene Colan.

In a decadent and caste-based future, a few oddly matched travellers, including a Watcher of the stars, a young Flier girl, and a Changeling, visit the old city of Roum (suspected to previously be called Rome), and become entangled in events including the possibility of invasion.
