Nightwatch with Steve Scott

'Nightwatch with Steve Scott' a weekday late-night documentary series on ITV created in January 2008. It is presented by the long standing ITV news presenter Steve Scott (journalist) There are three different genres of the programme; Crime, Emergency and Mystery. Crime goes on patrol with police forces across the land in the battle against criminals and law-breakers, to expose life on the front line with Britain's law enforcers.1 Emergency Cameras follow fire crews, paramedics, ambulance teams and the doctors and nurses of real-life ER as they make split-second, life-or-death decisions and fight to save lives.2 The Mystery version of the programme opens up the files and casebooks on Britain's most notorious murders, infamous criminals and unsolved mysteries, and highlights criminal history's darkest secrets.3
The programme receives high viewing figures despite the late shift of between 12 and 2am.
