[edit] History

The show debuted on January 24, 2004 on KDKB-FM, based in Phoenix, Arizona.

The show used to feature macabre news by dominatrix Mistress Kitty, however, her segment is no longer included. Also several comedy sketches were featured, some featuring famous musicians. Often these interviews would culminate with the guest artist asking Cooper for money they were owed for being Cooper's opening act. Cooper, upon failing to pay up, would be beaten senseless by the artist(s). One such artist was Joe Satriani who said, "Now give me my money, or I'm gonna play the Satch Boogie on your head!" During the beatings, the artist would often say, "and this is for making fun of Rush!" (In many commentaries, Cooper would make fun of the Canadian rock band Rush.) He also refers to many of his listeners as being in mental hospitals.
