[edit] Track listing

Here is an incomplete list of samples used on the album, in chronological order. Note that many of the songs listed here sample other songs themselves; an example of this being the portion of "Passing Me By" by The Pharcyde used in "Smash Your Head" simultaneously sampling both "Summer in the City" by Quincy Jones and "Are You Experienced?" by Jimi Hendrix. Neither Quincy Jones nor Jimi Hendrix, however, are credited in the liner notes, since their original music was only indirectly sampled by "Smash Your Head".
