Nigel Leask

Professor Nigel Leask (born 1958) holds the Regius Chair of English Language and Literature at the University of Glasgow, having been appointed to the post in September 2004. Prior to taking up the position, Nigel Leask was a reader in Romantic Literature at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Queens' College, Cambridge.
His areas of interest include romantic literature and culture, in which he has published widely and gained an international reputation.
