Nigel Coates (architect)

Nigel Coates (March 2, 1949 - ) is an English architect, author and furniture designer, and from 1995 lecturer at the Royal College of Art in Architectural Design.
Coates designed the British Pavilion at Expo '98 in Lisbon, the Body Zone at London's Millennium Dome, and the ill-fated National Centre for Popular Music in Sheffield, which opened in 1999 and closed one year later.
