Nigel Ashford

Professor Nigel Ashford is a British academic and author, primarily in the field of politics.

Having directed the Principles of a Free Society Project at the Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation in Sweden he was appointed professor of politics and Jean Monnet Scholar in European Integration at Staffordshire University, England. As of 2002 he works for the Institute for Humane Studies near Washington DC .

He has been awarded the International Anthony Fisher Trust Prize.

  • US Politics Today (1999)
  • Public Policy and the Impact of the New Right (1994)
  • A Dictionary of Conservative and Libertarian Thought (1991)
