Niforeika

Niforeika (Greek: Νιφορέικα, previously Νιφοράιικα) is a village that is located between Kalamaki and Kato Achaia in the municipality of Dymi in northwestern Achaia. Distance from Patras is about 29 km, 11 km E of Araxos and 13 km E of the airport, and N of Gomosto. Its nearby communities are Kalamaki to the west, Gomosto to the east, and Kato Achaia along with the village of Alykes to the east. Distance from the highway is about 4 km NW. The commune includes Paralia Niforeika which is Niforeika Beach.

The village has a school and a church. Residential houses are mainly ligned with the Araxos-Kato Achaia Road. Hotels including Niforeika Beach are very common in the northern part which is called Niforeika Beach along with sandy beaches. There are about 10 hotels northeast of the core.
