I got the info I added today from the HDCP article. Thought it should be cross-applied to this stub. Unfortunately, I don't know where the HDCP article got it from. Was that a mistake? --ZachPruckowski 20:49, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dual_EC_DRBG

During the Crypto 2007 rump session talk Ferguson and Shumov explicitly pointed out that they do not claim that NIST intentionally put a back door into the Dual_EC_DRBG, just that a back door is possible. I'm therefore removing a comment to the contrary from the article. The controversy is better described on the Dual_EC_DRBG page. The slides from the Crypto 2007 presentation can be found there too. The statement is included in the conclusions of the presentation. 85.2.27.126 (talk) 12:10, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
