Nieuw-Haamstede

Nieuw-Haamstede (51°43′N, 3°42′E) is a town in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is a part of the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland, and lies about 25 km north of Middelburg.

In 2001, the town of Nieuw-Haamstede had 357 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.60 km², and contained 340 residences.[1] The statistical area "Nieuw-Haamstede", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 440.[2]
