[edit] Right to be a human
The right to be a human Vasiliauskaitė defines as follows:
“Human” is not a natural reality, but a sociopolitical category (this means: X “becomes human” only then, when socium DECIDES to recognize the X as a human).[3]
In other words:
One becomes “human” only by political decision, because DNR parameters in themselves, without benevolent political will, doesn't ensure “human” status to anybody".[4]
Vasiliauskaitė believes that human rights should be defended only keeping in mind these restrictions and should apply only to such conventional humans.
