[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 16:20, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing existing comments, as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Drake Circus Shopping Centre, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
trying to tidy up the quotations which i have not changed and are there in the discussion page (or history if they have been changed again).
In this edit you have copied and changed two comments made by User:WebHamster on a different page, here and here. When describing other people's contributions or edits, you should use diffs. --Smalljim 16:49, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
i did not know that. I will try to rememeber.
[edit] Editing
before you do any more editing can you please read WP:MOS, WP:EL and WP:CITET as once you are conversant with them it will drastically cut down the copy editing I'm having to do behind you. Similarly don't become obsessive at getting pictures of everything whether in the article or via links. The article is only small and there are far too many pics on there already relative to the amount of text. ---- WebHamster 00:57, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Drake-circus
A tag has been placed on Drake-circus, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
