[edit] Session poisoning

Hi,

Hmmm, I will see if I can improve descriptions on that scenario!

[edit] Security

Are are you writing on the security related pages? I have seen that some people have lists of "these pages are my most important contributions". I really like such pages, gives a feel for the user's efforts into wikipedia, makes a "user" more into a "person" so to speak :-)

--Blaufish 20:07, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

  • You're right, I should describe my topics of interest on my user page ... but I am not really a topic editor, I just use wikipedia, read articles and correct things when I feel I can ... Anyway I am not a security expert ... but trying stuff once in a while and reading bugtraq when I have time ;-) Nicolas1981 14:25, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Adobe Acrobat

Hi Gscshoyru. You just reverted my edit on Adobe Acrobat giving "useless and misplaced" as a reason. Useless ? Knowing how a software has been developed is really important, it is like knowing how the Taj Mahal has been built, concrete or stone. Misplaced ? There are 3 sections in the article: header, history, criticism. The latter two sections can not be considered, I am left with the header, because I don't want to create an entire new section for just this simple sentence. I guess you will agree on the second point, but you will need to elaborate on the first one. Cheers, Nicolas1981 17:12, 19 July 2007 (UTC).

Yeah... Um... not sure what I was thinking. Not useless. Is misplaced though... there's probably a better spot that the summary, since it really doesn't belong there. But I was being stupid... Gscshoyru 17:19, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Single editor

I think that this list is a very useful idea! I've moved it to a public place so that other people can e.g. strike the articles they've fixed, and added it to our "cleanup" list. >Radiant< 12:09, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Great :-) Sorry I could not find the"public place" and "cleanup list" pages you mention, would you be kind enough to post the links ? Thanks a lot ! Nicolas1981 13:52, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
WP:ASE and CAT:CLN. By the way I'd suggest making subpages for the list, perhaps one per letter, since it appears to be getting pretty long. >Radiant< 14:31, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
