[edit] Deleted images Alpina Logo and Gottlieb Hauser; Alpina Watches

These images were deleted by you because of License Incompatibility. Please assist me how to do properly: 1) The Alpina Logo is from company and I have authorization as Marketing Manager to upload. 2) Gottlieb Hauser is founder of company and file is adjusted by me and released to public domain. Both files are used by expanded Alpina_watches. Nicko3 11:18, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Just seen on history that you mentioned 'copyright violation'. What do you refer to and why was my contribution deleted? Please let me know on your or my Talk page. Thank you.Nicko3 11:22, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Hello Nicko3. I'm sorry, but we can't just take your word that you have authorization to use the text and images. Also, even if you did have authorization, Wikipedia requires that all text be released under GFDL or public domain. The easiest way to sort all this out is to put a notice on the Alpina website indicating that all information is released under GFDL or the public domain, or you can send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en at wikimedia dot org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation.
