My name is Nick Urban. I was born in 1983, in Berkeley, California.

I'm a recent graduate from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, USA.

Before coming to Evergreen, I spent two and a half years studying computer science at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California.

I enjoy social dancing, particularly Blues dancing and Lindy Hop, which I have taught on numerous occasions.

I use wikipedia regularly while I'm reading and writing to fill in gaps in my knowledge of history, mythology--all kinds of things really. I figure as long as I spend so much time here I might as well make some small contributions.
