Luke Pinder is a British rally driver, born on 2nd October 1983 in Shipley, Bradford). He started competing in 1998 in the Junior Autograss championship. In 2000 Luke completed his driving test and competed his first rally in a Peugeot 205 GTI. His debut event proved his talent and he spent the next few years developing his talent on a variety of British rallying events in a variety of cars which led to him competing in and winning the 2005 Peugeot 206 Cup 1400 Championship.

Luke's success in the Peugeot 206 Cup saw him win the coveted Raymond Monroe Dream Drive competition.

2006 was a stop-start season with the start of the season starting well as Luke attended the John Haugland rally school in Scandinavia as part of his Dream Drive competition prize and was picked by Haugland to be a future star of British rallying following on from his successful spell at the rally school. The second part of the season saw Luke employed by Citoren rally specialist TMS to develop and rally their Citroen C2 car. Luke competed the car in the 2006 RAC rally but due to a power steering fault crashed heavily on the first stage of the event.

2007 saw Luke sign for Chris Birkbeck's Ford rally team and compete in the Stars of the Future 1400 class of the British Rally Championship. After two car failures in the first two rounds Luke has had a series of strong results which has seen him take the lead of the championship.

In Pinder's short carrer he has drawn praise from former WRC drivers John Haugland and Pentti Airikkala
