[edit] Indie

Is it wise to mention that the game is indie, because most role-playing games are indie. Are they not? --Easyas12c 21:37, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

You're right that it's a somewhat arbitrary label, and that there are borderline cases. Same as the genre divisions, where one can argue whether a specific game is fantasy or not. I'm of the same view as The Forge that a role-playing game is independent if it's creator-owned. The same people that have created the game should control all aspects of promotion, printing and distribution, and so on. Indie games usually have shorter print runs, as well, and other things that signifies them.
Do you want to remove the category Indie role-playing games, or are you talking about the first sentence of the article? Jonas Karlsson 09:04, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
Just wanted to raise discussion, because it is my addition, but I'm not sure about it. --Easyas12c 10:34, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
