is this really appropriate? It's so subjectively written. perhaps someone can edit the paragraph to take out the bias, "Scherzinger is what entertainment industry executives call “a triple threat.” This free-spirited artist is not just another pretty face; she can sing, act, and dance. Its simple! As said in the Richard & Judy interview, Nicole says her mother is hawaiian/russian and his dad is filipino.

Shes not Filipina, she is at most 1 third filipina meaning more than 1 half of her ethnic makeup is not filipino. Until a scource is presented proving that her father is Filipino and her mother is Hawaiian/Russian, the article will state and quote from the scources that have been currently provided. --Jandela 11:27, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

I removed the statement at the first of the article unless a valid source can be provided. The link that was there was a dead link. I also removed the part close to the end of the article, because the staement made had absolutely nothing to do with the role she was playing.Aladdin Zane 19:56, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Scherzinger - a German surname

"Scherzinger" is a typical southern German and Swiss-German surname. It is derived from the Swiss town "Scherzingen", which is located in the border region of Germany and Switzerland.

Scherzinger is her stepfather's name, and her mother is half Hawaiian.

  • I have re-inserted her stepfather's name (Gary Scherzinger), as I think it is elevant to her bio to know that she uses his name and not her biological father's surname. Someone keeps anonymously removing his surname, perhaps they think it is just a style issue? This might be solved if someone knows Nicole's biological father's name & adds it to the bio. Popdirt confirmed that the story that said Nicole was leaving the group was fake. http://popdirt.com/article47271.html She is planning on releasing a solo CD, however.man I heard she was from minnesota.

There is still an "edit war" occurring, where anon. users replace "cat:whistle register singers" without a source. So far all we have is seemingly "original research" about Scherzinger's voice in the songs "1000 Words" and "Let Me Know What Happens". See comment above by Marysunshine. Why do people continue to argue about these whistle register singers. Everybody just needs to go ahead and admit that the talent is not as rare as it supposely was. Most females have the talent now, so its shouldn't be a big deal.<unsigned>

This article is currently undergoing a edit war. Some anon. editors are de-linking most of the text, removing relevant biographical material (her studies), and also adding errors (she sang on the album Days of the New II, not their first album), and so on.

Think again...It's not a free image, so it's gonna get deleted. You can't use a non-free image (like a fairuse one) just to see what a person looks like. Ta-ni-ni 14:51, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

There are some discrepencies here; If "Supervillian" and "Puakenikeni" were both released on iTunes then I think they should both be listed in the Pussycat Dolls article, the Nicole Scherzinger article, Nicole Scherzinger discography and the Template:Nicole Scherzinger. Hey, Just Looked under her Solo Album section and at the bottom it says she officially announced the release date. Currently "Yes We Can" is listed here as a 'Featured Single', but I don't think it fits this category. "Yes We Can" has over 20 guest vocalists. I think it belongs on her discography page but not listed here as a 'Featured Single'. Any consensus on this?--Design (talk) 11:43, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
