[edit] Possible Sabotage
Either someone sabotages the "personal interests" section, or Nicolas Cage has the funniest interests of all time.

[edit] nicolas cage's recent movies
Is it just me, or have most of his recent movies really (in laymens' terms) sucked ass completely? Horrible in terms of having rediculous dialogue and little to no plot oncesoever?
Why is this? What is his motivation for making films like World Trade Center (movie), The Wicker Man, and Ghost Rider (film)?
Money, obviously, but why can't be make a GOOD movie as well as make money off of it?
Perhaps I'm just the odd man out who thinks these movies are bad; does everyone else think they are good? IMO, Lord of War, The Weather Man, and Adaption were much higher quality movies in terms of dialogue and plot.

I have to agree with you, and I even claim to be a Nicholas Cage fan! I thought he was very good in Lord of War, but that was about it. However, you have give credit to the man who drove Eleanor in "Gone in Sixty Seconds." According to that movie's behind- the- scenes section, that was really Nic driving the GT500. So he can be in a good movie, but just has not been in a while. By the way, I am a huge car guy, which is why I base Nic's merit on this alone. Jason Keyes 12:58, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
isnt that a little sexist? why does "alice kim" page redirect to nicolas cage page with not even info on her? (random user) oct 2005
- No, she hasn't done anything notable other than marry a notable person. Therefore she has no article of her own so her name redirects here. Dismas|(talk) 18:42, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] nicolas cage
can any body tell me the name of the film where cage plays a highly strung con-artist who ends up taking his young daughter on jobs with him

Recently, Nick has said that he changed his name to Cage bcause of composer Christopher Cage. Not sure why he changed his mind as to why he changed his last name, but he did. Rayner23 15:51, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Bloody Lip
There is a persistent minor urban legend in some circles that Nicholas Cage sports a bloody lip in every movie he's been in. Is there any truth to this? Should it be documented? Can we modify his filmography to include a "Bloody Lip Yes/No" field? :) 24.69.16.245 23:18, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
Note one previous comment: To my knowledge of remembrence, Cage did not have a bloody nose in National Treasure. Correct me, if I am wrong, but I am fairly sure of that.
[edit] Cage makes reference to his Spirital interests
Being an expert on 16th century German mystic, Jacob Boehme, it was interesting to hear Cage make mention of him:
-
-
- In the second week of February 2007 while appearing on the Jay Leno show promoting his new movie Ghost Rider, Cage stated that one of his “great interests…was 16th century German mysticism”, which can only be meant the writings of Jacob Boehme, a prolific author of Neoplatonic-like mysticism and speculation about the One (Godhead).
-
The ONLY "16th century German Mystic" was Jacob Boehme, a very very prolific author of profound metaphysics - User Attasarana
Related: He "admits" that he's a Christian? Do we need it to sound like a crime, a secret? I'm not quite sure how to change it other than "He is a Christian, having been baptized Roman Catholic," which seems to come out of nowhere, as now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.134.121.3 (talk) 03:23, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Dead?
Someone keeps putting he's dead from artery blockage. He's not. He's alive and well. ~Crowstar~ 01:09, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] executive producer of The Godfather III?
I thought http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicholas_Gage was the executive producer of The Godfather III and not Nicolas Cage as mentioned in the Career section. 128.221.197.21 06:17, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Grindhouse critically acclaimed??
How does a 76% cream of the crop at rottentomatoes.com qualify as critical acclaimation?? Iforgetwhat8wasfor (talk) 15:01, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 'Kim'?
Silly question, but why is Nicholas Cage's real middle name 'Kim'? It sounds very unusual. What's the story behind the name? Is it like 'A Boy Named Sue'? Schuimend Mormel (talk) 18:34, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "exemplar of method acting"
"an exemplar of method acting." sounds POV to me.
