[edit] Wrong informations

These informations are totally wrong. Amatrice isn't in Calabria, but in Lazio, province of Rieti, and Filotesio was not Neapolitan. In the end his name was Nicola and not Nicolò, he was also knowed as Cola dell'Amatrice. He died in Ascoli Piceno, near 1547. We are trying to find and write more information in Italian Wikipedia, take a look: Nicola Filotesio --87.1.66.138 09:39, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

The source of the information Wornum's 19th century encyclopedia is riddled with errors. I will defer to Italian wikipedia entry.CARAVAGGISTI 17:27, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

S.J. Freedberg doesn't even mention him. I added an illus. --Wetman 06:41, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
