We made something in day-care once that had an identical texture to gak.. you just mixed equal parts starch (no idea what that is, in this context) and glue. The thing is, after a while it'd become a lot tougher and stretchier, like latex... and eventually become brittle and shred up.

I made a Gak thing in my chemistry class with glue, water, food coloring and Borax and it even makes the fart noise and bounces. I like it -Power Slave 00:05, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Where it says that "unlike gak, goooze did not make a farting noise" is actualy not true. It was briefly featured in some comercials that you could press in a glass or something, but not it's packaging container.
