[edit] Blatant CopyVio

This article is copied directly off of the site listed on the notice. That is a blatant copyright infringement.--Cyrus Andiron t/c 17:54, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

-If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Nickar with a link to where we can find that note.
the book is from the 1840s making it clearly in the realm of iminent domain, but as i said, give me 15 minutes, i will find a way "NOT" to day it the way de Plancy said it.... which the owners of that web site did not do...
Okay, you need to sign your posts with ~~~~. Also, when you respond to a post, use a colon to indent. Now, it is not up to me wether or not the article gets deleted. I'm telling you that you cannot post something from another website directly into Wikipedia. That is violating the copyright. --Cyrus Andiron t/c 18:10, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

i understand you but what i am saying is i did not just copy and past, if you note the arrangement of my article is completely off, the wording differs all over the place, its simply that the maker of that page and myself both are copying a book, the infirnal dictionary by collin de Plancy, we obviously have diffrent editions, but still, the text is going to have a lot of likenesses, in any case, i have rewritten it, or rather rearranged it in hopes of maintaining the same information without corrupting the text... i hope this is well enough.--Tophatdan 18:16, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Yes, you have changed some of the words around now. However, when I put the notice on the article, a substanital portion of it had been taken from the website verbatim. That is the problem. I encourage you to keep fixing the article and expanding it. Normally, I would help you do this, but my knowledge of the subject matter is nonexistant. Finally, remember to watch punctuation and grammar as you improve the article.--Cyrus Andiron t/c 19:03, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
One more comment. You may want to check out this article. It tells you how to properly cite your sources. This will help you improve your references section.--Cyrus Andiron t/c 19:06, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] FIN

my work on the infirnal dictionary is finished, i will be coming back to make a few changes from time to time, but i hope that others will expand on what i bagan.
