There's been some attention to this page since the hospital brawl, which I guess is good. I edited out the part about Riggs getting knocked out, because I listened to both fighters versions on the radio and a knock out is probably not the best description. Both Riggs and Diaz said that they locked up and wrestled after the punch was thrown, which is tough to do if you're out cold. Diaz claimed "he dropped him", but then said that Riggs took a leg right after the punch and tried to take him dowfffffffffffffffffffn. Riggs said he wasn't expecting the punch and it knocked him down, but he immediatly went after Diaz. I think "knocked down" is the better description. I really liked all the other edits.

i dont love the detail, it just doesnt seem encyclopedic, but i do appreciate the NPOV nature. i know the forum post is a transcript of a genuine media interview, but i guess quoting it and discussing the altercation in such detail seems rough to me. at any rate, i am certainly able to handle it if other editors think it is fine – assuming there are other editors who pay attention to this page. What's up with the summary at the top of the "MMA record" table? The wins/losses don't add up, and are different than the one at the top of the page. As of this moment the table summary says: 22 Wins (16 KO's, 2 submission, 4 decisions), 2 Losses (2 submissions), 0 Draws. By my count in the table, it is: 13 Wins (6 KO's, 5 submission, 2 decisions), 6 Losses (0 submissions), 0 Draws.

[edit] Nick Diaz is awesome

This is a fact.

I just did an overhaul of this entire article, just forgot to log in like an idiot. Let me know how I did... jayc948 15:04, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Lookin' good to me... Tuckdogg 15:21, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

The win-loss summary reads all losses. AnthrAxNSB

[edit] Method does not match result.

The method "gogoplata (submission) can not result in a no contest (the listed result). The listed method should be what brought about the result (Diaz failing drug test). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.2.200.118 (talk) 20:53, 23 April 2007 (UTC).

I think we should also mention how that ruling is BS and how Dr. Alamo is a psuedoscientist because Diaz was obviously not intoxicated at the fight. Hmm_Sprinkles

Nick Diaz recently did an article for Weeds magazine no joke,he was high, and still beat gomi somehow. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.35.195.73 (talk) 05:26, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
